Layer 3 Backbone Switches
Foundry's chassis-based BigIron family of Layer 3 Backbone Switches for the campus, MAN and LAN environments delivers up to 3.84 Terabits per second of backplane switching capacity, dramatically reduces performance bottlenecks with wire-speed IP routing. With this capacity, the BigIron RX Series scales to support 192 separate 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports in a single 7 foot rack. The entire BigIron family scales to easily handle several hundred non-blocking Gigabit Ethernet ports at a peak performance of up to 1.14 Billion packets per second - delivering greater performance than competitive switches and routers at a much lower price.

Layer 2/3 Enterprise Core/Edge and Service Provider Edge Switches
Foundry's complete line of award-winning Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches include the FastIron and EdgeIron product families. These products deliver a new level of performance and functionality for Enterprise and Service Provider networks. Based on Foundry's high performance architectures, these products deliver industry-leading performance, price/performance and high-density 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet connectivity for Enterprise backbones, high-density wiring closet environments, and Service Provider edge applications.

Wireless
Foundry’s IronPoint family of wireless products provides a complete solution for current and future enterprise mobility requirements. For best-in-class wireless VoIP performance and high density deployments, Foundry offers the IronPoint Mobility Seriesof controllers and access points. To protect enterprise networks from wireless security threats such as rogue access points and unauthorized users, the IronPoint Wireless Location Manager provides real-time, location mapping of all wireless devices. For a feature-rich and cost-effective solution, the IronPoint 200 Access Point allows enterprise networks to quickly and easily enable safe and secure wireless access. The IronPoint 200 Access Point can also be connected to the FES-IronPoint Wireless Switch for enhanced management, mobility and security.

Routers
The chassis-based NetIron product family provides unparalleled, wire-speed IP routing performance and switching capacity to meet the expanding requirements of service providers and large enterprises. Built on the foundations of a robust, high availability system architecture, these routers are designed for the most demanding of applications in a converged network. The newest additions to the NetIron router family are the NetIron XMR Series and NetIron MLX Series routers. The NetIron XMR Series offers industry leading performance and scalability for advanced IPv4, IPv6, and MPLS service delivery. The NetIron MLX Series of switching routers offers advanced service delivery capabilities for the metro edge, large enterprise and High Performance Computing. The NetIron Metro Routers have a variety of interfaces designed to protect existing investment while providing a migration path to the future. Powered by feature-rich Multi-Service IronWare operating system software, the NetIron product family allows network administrators to dramatically lower their total cost of ownership of the network. The NetIron routers are designed to be NEBS Level 3 compliant.

Layer 4-7 Switches
The ServerIronTM family of Layer 4-7 switches is the industry leader in load balancing servers, firewalls, caches, ISP links, and data centers with high-performance Layer 4-7 switching and integrated Layer 2/3 functionalities. ServerIron switches enable network managers to build and secure mission-critical application infrastructure that is massively scalable and always available. SecureIron Products
SecureIron security products and solutions address the critical needs of Enterprise and Service Provider infrastructures for scalable network-wide security against emerging vulnerabilities and threats. Two new families of SecureIron products – SecureIron Security Traffic Managers and SecureIronLS secure LAN switches – deliver application-aware security protection at the network perimeter, internal network aggregation points, within the data center, and to directly-attached workstations and servers. The SecureIron solution provides protection against a broad range of threats including network and application-layer attacks, DoS attacks, intrusions, viruses, worms, SPAM and Web-based attacks.

Network Management
Foundry IronView Network Manager (INM) is a robust and flexible network management platform with a rich set of applications targeted for operations management of Foundry’s entire product family of wired and wireless switches, routers, application and security traffic managers, and access points.    INM provides a rich set of tools, including configuration, change, security, and asset management.  INM also provides event, alarm, and reporting capabilities, and is the first management tool to provide full closed loop security remediation capabilities under the Foundry IronShield 360 security umbrella.  INM runs on the industry’s best-of-breed server platforms, and is scalable to support 1000s of nodes.
